"The Thomasville City Council approved an ordinance on first reading to provide "On-Bill" financing to eligible customers so they can buy energy efficient appliances or make energy efficient home improvements."

Three years ago, I started advocating Energy Efficiency in our homes and at that time the first ENERGY STAR QUALIFIED home was built.
As many in the industry saw this as a trend, a niche, a marketing hype and even wrote about it as a trend that was not going anywhere and stated that consumers were not willing to invest in making their homes more Energy Efficient and even went to the extreme to say that these upgrades needed to be comparable.
